Het focust licht op de achterkant van het oog (een plek die het netvlies wordt genoemd), wat u een helder beeld geeft. Wanneer u verziend bent, wordt het licht niet correct gefocust en komt het achter het netvlies terecht.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Een van de oorzaken kan zijn dat uw oogbollen korter zijn dan normaal. Dit betekent dat het netvlies dichter bij de pupil zit en het licht voorbij het netvlies terechtkomt. Een normaal oog is doorgaans ongeveer 23 mm lang. Een verziend oog is korter.<\/li>\n<li>Een andere mogelijkheid is dat u verziend bent als u een vlak hoornvlies heeft. Het hoornvlies moet gebogen zijn om het licht naar het netvlies te leiden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Beide factoren veroorzaken verziendheid doordat ze het licht voorbij het netvlies laten vallen. Als gevolg hiervan heeft u wazig zicht, en dit kan uw dagelijks leven be\u00efnvloeden.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-larger-font-size\"><strong>Verziendheid bij kinderen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Verziendheid is meestal erfelijk. Baby\u2019s en peuters kunnen verziend zijn, maar dit zou vanzelf moeten verdwijnen naarmate hun oogbollen langer worden tijdens de groei. Er kan echter een lui oog ontstaan doordat de hersenen het oog met het zwakkere zicht negeren en niet leren om goed te zien. Het recept zal waarschijnlijk verschillen van dat van uw bril. Er zijn verschillende soorten contactlenzen beschikbaar, zoals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lenstore.nl\/c1\/daglenzen\">daglenzen<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lenstore.nl\/c3\/maandlenzen\">maandlenzen<\/a>.
